Tarsia XI Fantasy RPG
There are 11 types of elemental magic, and while they are technically under the control of the Leaders, those deities long ago agreed to release some of their power to the mortal world for free use. They gave up only the elemental parts of their power – having to do with Shadow, Fire, Lightning, Light, Space, Water, Ice, Wind, Life, Time, and Earth; the remainder of their powers are given only to their ordained priests. The elements are paired, except for Life, with their opposites: Shadow and Light, Fire and Ice, Lightning and Water, Wind and Earth, Distance and Time. Users of a particular kind of elemental magic can counter magic of the opposite type.
